The Panthers looked horrible in their season debut but it is hard to write them off this early. The Falcons looked incredible and Ryan appeared to have started where he left off last season. Look for Delhomme to play better but not good enough to get a win in the Georgia Dome. |
The Panthers defense is awful, which was evident last week when the Eagles lit them up. The Falcons have an even better offense than the Eagles, and there’s no way the Carolina offense will be able to outscore them. Atlanta is a 6 ½ point favorite and they should win by 7 or more. |

The Rams proved last week that they are all over the place and the Redskins battled to the end with the Giants. |
The Rams could be the worst team in the NFL this year. The Redskins were competitive against an excellent Giants team. So, the Skins will easily win, but I’m not so sure their typical Un-explosive offense can beat that 9 ½ point spread. |

West coast team coming to play an early east coast game and we all know how that turned out last year. Will it be the same this year? |
This year, more than ever, there are teams I REALLY like and teams I REALLY don’t like. The Jags are one of those teams, I’m just not feeling, even though they have golden advantage of playing home against a west coast team. The Cardinals offense should really get things going this week, and defense can hold their own. The Cardinals are getting 3 ½ points, take that bet and enjoy the winnings! UPSET PICK #1! |

Raiders looked good Monday night and I’m still unsure about the Chiefs offense. |
I’m only picking the Chiefs because they’re in Kansas City, and because I can’t stand Jamarcus Russell. As evident by my “Confidence Points”, I have NO confidence in this pick. FYI…the spread is 3 points in favor of KC. |

Lots of trash talking between these two teams. The Jets defense is improved but they have a rookie QB and I don’t believe he’ll handle the pressure. |
Even though they almost lost to the Bills last week, I still think the Patriots are one of the better teams this year. The Jets are going to get better as the year goes on, but I don’t think they can pull this one off, even at home. Especially when I think the Patriots want to make a statement with this game. Patriots are a 3 ½ point favorite, but since I could see this being a close one, I don’t think I’d bet on it. |

The Titans defense was more impressive against the Steelers than they were during the pre-season. I’m still looking for the Texans offense to explode but I don’t think it’ll happen against Tennessee. |
Picking the home team here, but I think the Texans want to make up for their awful game last week. The Titans are a 6 ½ point favorite and that sounds about right, so I wouldn’t touch this game. |

The Vikings were a 4 point favorite last week and I almost passed out. That was the easiest money I’ve EVER SEEN! This week they play the lowly Lions and they’re a 10 point favorite. They should win by that much, but it’s not a guarantee like last week. |

If the Bucs defense impressed me I’d almost be inclined to pick them but the Bills looked good and they need to re-gather themselves. |
Only the Bills can lose that game last week. What a disaster! I have a gut feeling about those Bucs this week. I love their running game, and think their defense will get better. Bucs are a 4 ½ point dog. Woof Woof! UPSET PICK #2! |

What a game this will be. I have to put my confidence in Ben’s ability to win games. I do think we’ll get a better game out of Cutler but his lack of receiving core will hurt Chicago in the end. |

I like Rivers in this game. Look for big numbers from him as he takes San Diego to a win. |
With no LT, I think the Chargers offense is going to be much better. Though, I also think their defense is average at best this year. I don’t think they will, but if the Ravens continue to play like they did last week, they could upset the Chargers. So, with a 3 point spread, I wouldn’t touch this game. |

Another excellent matchup. These teams always play well against each other. Tough choice but I’m going with Romo and crew. |
I absolutely love the Giants this year. Jacobs and Bradshaw are the best 1-2 RB combo in the NFL, and their D-Line is the best too. Giants are the underdog…take them, but don’t bet too much. Dallas is a great team and could pull it off. UPSET PICK #3! |
